OBESITY OPS 'RAISE FRACTURE RISK'


Researches about fracture risk caused for Obesity shows that people who have had weight loss or bariatric surgery have suffered fractures in the bones of hands, feet, hip, spine and others.

Obesity and weight losse affect bone health because " Chronic vitamin D deficiency and inadequate calcium intake are common with obesity, and bariatric surgery poses a risk owing to malabsorption and decreased oral intake."
