This story is about a man called Russell who sold weapons to the enemies of United States. He took a woman called Susan.

on the other hand, Spenser who was a detective and was fell in love Susan, so that Spenser called Hawk help him to search to Susan.

Spenser and Hawk did everything to find her, then Hawk was arrested for murder, but Spenser got him out from prision and had many problems to find Susan, however Spenser was fell in love Susan and he wanted to be with her, however Russell hid Susan away from Spenser .

In the end, Spenser and Hawk found Susan and Spenser killed Russell's father (who owned half country) in a silver mine, after that Susan told Spenser that she was fell in love him and they could be together.
