KING’S RASOM



The story is about a man called Douglas king, he was a very rich and important person who worked in “granger Shoe Company” where made expensive shoes. Douglas king wanted to become the company president, so he planned a big business deal. Douglas was married Diane, an attractive woman and they had a son called Bobby king.
One day Bobby went out of the house to play with his little friend Jeffry Reynolds, the son of King’s Chauffeur. By Barnard and Eddie Folsom a small-time crooks, not very successful, planned Bobby’s Kidnapping but they took the wrong boy, Jeffry but not King’s son.

The Kidnappers called Douglas and asked him to get them five hundred thousand dollar to free the boy. Then Douglas called the police and the detectives Carella and Mayer went here and asked Douglas some questions about people he knew, some minutes later, the Kidnappers noticed that the boy wasn’t King’s son, but they still asked Douglas King for the money. Douglas told his wife Diane that he wouldn’t pay Jeff’s ransom, so she packed clothes into a bag and moved to her friend Liz’ home.
After that, the Kidnappers call Douglas again, and Douglas said that he had the money at Grover Avenue. Douglas and the detective Carella went out to meet the Kidnappers.
Douglas and the detective were into the car when the telephone began to ring, and one of the Kidnappers, Eddie began to give Douglas some instructions, and suddenly, his wife Katty who didn’t like rotte things shouted into the open microphone and said to Douglas where Jeffry was and where by was looking for the money. Consequently, Mr. Douglas and the detective went to catch by and he was sent to prison, and two police went to free Jeffry and they found that he was alone in a Farmhouse.

Eddie and Katty had already left, and Jeffry refused to talk about them because had been very Kind to him, so the case was closed.
Finally, Mr. Douglas became the president of Granger Shoe and his wife Diane went back to him, and they and his son Bobby lived happy together.
